9.5.2 Course Failures

Repeating a course

Learners may be allowed to repeat a course the next time it is offered. In the instance where the course failure is not isolated or where there are other academic or professionalism issues of concern, a learner may be required to petition the Program Director or the MHA Programmatic Committee for permission to repeat the course(s). Tuition for repeated courses is over and above the original program tuition. Students may be placed on a leave of absence (LOA) while awaiting an opportunity to repeat a course.

 

Process for Challenging a Final Course Grade:

 

Students have a right to appeal a final course grade or evaluation if they believe it is unjust or inaccurate, consistent with the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Appeal policy and the general MGH IHP policy.  The process for this is described in the Institute Catalog at this link:
