1.1 Admissions Qualifications

Applicants in the PP-OTD program must be an occupational therapist, having an earned a bachelor's degree (in any field) and a master’s degree* from one of the following:

  1. A regionally accredited U.S. college or university
  2. An accredited college or university (for those educated outside the U.S.)

 

*A Master’s degree in the following areas will be accepted: Master of Occupational Therapy, Master of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Public Administration, Master of Public Health, Master of Education, Master of Health Administration.

 

Applicants in the PP-OTD program who are bachelor’s-prepared and who do not hold a master’s degree must have obtained their bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.

 

Admission decisions are based on prior academic performance (undergraduate and graduate), professional experience (CV or resume), a written personal statement, and written recommendations from former professors, clinical supervisors and/or colleagues.
