6.1 Email
Each student will receive an Institute e-mail address. E-mail will be a primary mechanism for communication between faculty and students. Students are required to check their MGH IHP email daily. This e-mail address will be the primary mechanism for Institute communication. Desire 2 Learn (D2L) will also be used for program and course-level communication. It is expected that students take initiative and professional responsibility to read and respond to email from faculty and fellow students. All correspondence requiring response from course instructors and the program director are requested within 48 business hours. Students should expect to hear from the program director and instructors within 48 business hours of email receipt. Students are expected to uphold the same standards by responding to instructor emails within 48 hours if a response has been requested.
