This program is designed to prepare students to obtain entry-level positions in the area of healthcare administration by offering a strong foundation in the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the ever-changing landscape of healthcare systems and delivery. Graduates of this program will be able to understand and implement healthcare policy, analyze the financial and operational elements of a healthcare organization, lead others effectively and ethically, and understand the varying needs and expectations of the diverse segments of the populations receiving healthcare. Our curriculum offers latitude for students to learn about the health and social issues related to the healthcare setting in which they wish to find work, including long-term care, physician offices (e.g., pediatrics), mental health organizations, addiction clinics, etc.
