This Student Handbook contains helpful information and resources. It also contains policy statements and procedures, which every MGH Institute of Health Professions (the Institute) student is expected to follow. Each student is responsible for knowing and observing the contents of both this handbook and the Institute Catalog.


We are glad that you’ve chosen to become a part of the MGH Institute community. The administration, faculty, and staff hope each year will be enjoyable and that you will choose to take advantage of the many opportunities for learning, growth, and development both inside and outside the classroom. We hope that your time as a student and alumnus/a will be among the most fulfilling of your life.
