Student Government Association

The purpose of the organization is to represent and serve the needs and interests of the members of the student body.

OHANA

OHANA is primarily comprised of students who are African-American, Hispanic, Asian or Native American; however, it welcomes all students. OHANA facilitates dialogue about the issues of concern to students in order to enhance and nurture their academic, professional, social and cultural development at the MGH Institute.

Crossroads

Crossroads welcomes students of all denominations to join us for spiritual encouragement, prayer and fellowship with other IHP students, staff and faculty members, and alumni who seek to follow Christ. The group meets regularly throughout the academic year to explore and study issues of faith, calling, spirituality and service in health care.

IHP Musicians

IHP Musicians aims to enrich patients’ experiences and quality of life during recovery through musical entertainment. Club activities enhance students’ clinical and professional development, as well as promote interdisciplinary skills.

Integrative Healing Group

The Integrative Healing Group provides a forum for students and faculty with interest and experience in complementary and alternative therapies and allows students and faculty from all programs to interact and learn about collaboration and integration as tools for healing.

KinsIHP

Formed in 2005, this club provides a forum for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered students.

Learning Inspired by Nurses Who Know (LINK)

The LINK program was created in a an attempt to give incoming nursing students a student “contact” to help answer questions and informally orient new students to their program.

National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA)

NSSLHA is a nonprofit organization for graduate and undergraduate students interested in the study of human communication and related disabilities (Speech-Language Pathology).

Nursing Students for Reproductive Justice

An organization that raises awareness about issues related to reproductive health and justice.

Physical Therapy Club

The Physical Therapy Club seeks to increase awareness of the physical therapy profession to the general public. The club also mentors new entry-level DPT students.
