HCHEM 454 General Chemistry 2 for the Health Sci

Prerequisite: General Chemistry I for the Health Sciences or permission of the instructor. The topics in General Chemistry for the Health Science II course are also explained and discussed in context with simple clinical applications to different health professions such as, pharmacy etc. The course includes topics from intermolecular forces, properties of solutions, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acid-base and aqueous equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry and nuclear chemistry. The course has a required online laboratory component to it.
