8.1 Course Textbooks and Virtual Book Exchange
Course textbooks are required for courses. Students are responsible for purchasing textbooks from any source. The official bookstore is available from TextbookX, the MGH IHP online bookstore provider. Textbooks are expected to be purchased prior to the first week of class.
In order to decrease student costs, several texts are available for free electronic access through Treadwell library. A virtual book exchange is operated by program staff, allowing textbooks to be borrowed. Students will be responsible for costs incurred for sending the book back to the department or to the next student. Not all textbooks may be available in the virtual book exchange and students may be required to purchase the text.
